Auto-Record Picarto and GoodGame in 2026

Auto-record Picarto and GoodGame in 2026, plus Twitch, YouTube, and Kick. DLive is discontinued, so it is not a recording option.

November 4, 2026

You can currently auto-record Picarto and GoodGame in 2026 the same way you record Twitch, YouTube, and Kick. Add a live downloader with the channel name, leave it on, and the file shows up in your library when the stream ends.

Which livestreams you can auto-record

A live downloader watches a public channel and records when it goes live. In 2026 that is Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Picarto, and GoodGame.

PlatformWhat you storeCasingDo not paste
TwitchThe twitch.tv usernameLowercasedA VOD link as if it were the login
YouTubeA handle, or a channel ID that starts with UCHandle lowercased; the channel ID kept
KickThe kick.com usernameLowercased
PicartoThe picarto.tv channel nameKept as pastedstreampopout or videopopout
GoodGameThe goodgame.ru channel nameKept as pastedA player URL, or channel/ with no name

A Picarto link that continues into /videos/ still stores the channel name. A GoodGame link shaped like goodgame.ru/channel/SomeName stores SomeName, and the recorder opens https://goodgame.ru/SomeName. Duplicate checks ignore case, so SomeName and somename on the same platform are the same downloader.

DLive is Discontinued

DLive's livestream service is discontinued. A recorder pointed at dlive.tv has nothing to capture. AutoVOD rejects DLive when you create or edit a downloader. If a creator you used to archive there still streams, add the username on the site they use now. If they stopped, there is nothing to record. Retrying the old username later will not change that.

What the recorder actually does

A live downloader is a recorder/downloader for a live streamer, not a one-off URL. You choose the platform, paste the channel (a full URL is fine), pick quality (best, 1080p, 720p, 480p, 360p, or worst) and a container (MP4 or MKV), then leave it enabled.

The worker checks each enabled channel about every few seconds. An offline channel fails the live check, and the monitor treats that as offline. It does not invent a file. When the channel is live, recording starts. Twitch, Kick, Picarto, and GoodGame share that live check. YouTube is the exception: the worker finds the current live first, then records the stream.

If several accounts watch the same platform and username, they share one recording. Quality is the highest anyone asked for, and the container comes from the oldest downloader. A settings change does not restart a recording already in progress. You get an in-app notification when the channel goes live, and the file lands in your library when the stream ends.

Subscriber-only or geo-blocked broadcasts can fail. A channel that never goes live just keeps checking until you turn the downloader off.

Picarto and GoodGame names

Picarto is a name on picarto.tv, such as picarto.tv/SomeName. GoodGame is a name on goodgame.ru, such as goodgame.ru/SomeName. Keep the capitalization you see on the channel. The recorder sends that string to the site, so a lowercased guess can miss a mixed-case name.

Paste the channel page. Picarto popouts (streampopout, videopopout) and a GoodGame player URL are rejected. A Picarto /videos/ link still stores the channel, which is the next live, not a download of one old video. A GoodGame /channel/SomeName link is unwrapped to SomeName. Usernames have to be letters, numbers, underscores, hyphens, or dots. Anything else will not save.

Twitch, YouTube, and Kick

Those three did not change. Twitch and Kick usernames are stored in lowercase. A YouTube handle is lowercased. A YouTube channel ID that starts with UC and has 22 characters after that keeps its case, because that ID is case-sensitive.

Twitch still deletes past broadcasts on a timer. The Twitch auto-record guide covers those expiry windows.

After the file is in your library

A finished live recording costs 5 credits, charged when the file is saved. If that charge fails because the balance is too low, the downloader is turned off so it does not keep recording streams you cannot pay for. The file from the stream that just ended is still created.

Auto clip is optional, and it is not free. If the downloader has clip generation on, and no workflow has taken over that channel, the worker asks for a clip job. That job costs 10 credits, the same as starting Clip Generator yourself. If you do not have those credits, the recording stays in the library and the clips do not run.

A workflow replaces that checkbox when one is set to run on the recording, so you are not billed twice for the same cut. Uploads from a workflow go to YouTube or TikTok. There is no upload back to Picarto or GoodGame.

How many channels you can watch depends on your plan: 2 live downloaders on Free, 5 on Basic ($7.99/mo), and 10 on Pro ($29.99/mo). Free includes 20 credits a month and 10 GB. Basic shows 1,200 credits and 1 TB. Pro shows 5,500 credits and 2 TB. The same person on Twitch and on Picarto counts as two.

Open Automation, pick the platform, paste the channel, and leave the downloader enabled. Read the stored name back on Picarto and GoodGame so the capitalization matches the channel. An offline channel is not a bug, and DLive is not a fallback. Sign up and add the channel that is actually live in 2026.

FAQ

Can I auto-record a Picarto channel in 2026?

Yes. Add a live downloader, set the platform to Picarto, and paste the name from picarto.tv. AutoVOD keeps the capitalization you pasted, because the recorder sends that exact string to Picarto. Popout links (streampopout and videopopout) are rejected as not a channel. A URL that continues into that channel's videos still stores the channel name, and the downloader records the next time the channel is publicly live.

Does GoodGame auto-record work with old channel links?

Yes. Paste goodgame.ru/channel/SomeName and the stored username is SomeName. The recording opens https://goodgame.ru/SomeName, which is the channel the live check uses. A player URL is rejected. A channel/ link with no name after it is rejected as an invalid username. Casing is preserved, same as Picarto, while Twitch and Kick usernames are stored in lowercase.

Why is DLive missing from auto-record?

DLive is discontinued. The livestream service is gone, so a downloader would have nothing to record. AutoVOD does not list DLive, and creating or updating a downloader with that platform is rejected. Add the creator on Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Picarto, or GoodGame if they still stream there. If they stopped entirely, there is no recording to automate.

Will this save a Picarto or GoodGame stream that already ended?

No. A live downloader waits until the channel is live, then records until that stream ends. It does not go back and fetch last night's broadcast. If the check runs while the channel is offline, you get no file. That is the same for Picarto, GoodGame, Twitch, YouTube, and Kick. The check repeats about every 40 seconds for as long as the downloader stays enabled.

How many channels can I auto-record at once?

Free allows 2 live downloaders, Basic allows 5, and Pro allows 10. Each slot is one platform plus one username, so the same person on Picarto and Twitch counts as two. A duplicate username on the same platform is rejected. Free is $0 with 20 credits a month and 10 GB. Basic is $7.99 a month with 1,200 credits and 1 TB. Pro is $29.99 a month with 5,500 credits and 2 TB.

How many credits does one auto-recording cost?

Saving a finished live recording costs 5 credits. If you do not have 5 credits at that moment, the downloader is turned off. Auto clip, when it is enabled and a workflow is not handling that channel, is a separate 10-credit clip job. If that charge fails, the VOD stays in your library and the clips do not run. Credits refill monthly on your plan and reset each cycle.
