ArgieB8

What does ArgieB8 mean?

ArgieB8 is a grinning face chat uses when someone is baiting. The B8 is the tell: 'bait,' said out loud in the name. If Kappa is dry sarcasm, ArgieB8 is the person who is delighted you might fall for it. Post it when the trap is visible and they are still walking toward it.

Origin

It is an old photo global. The code mashes a nickname with B8, which chat reads as bait. Twitch never turned it into a drawing. The smirk is the whole emote. It sits in the same family as Jebaited and SoBayed.

When to use ArgieB8

• When a message is an obvious trap and the grin gives it away
• After someone almost falls for a fake leak, fake patch note, or TTS bit
• As the bait itself, typed after a lie you want read as a lie
• With Kappa if you need the sarcasm underlined twice
