AsianGlow

What does AsianGlow mean?

AsianGlow is a flushed face. Chat uses it when someone is embarrassed, when a joke got personal, when the food is too hot, or when a drink just landed. The name points at the alcohol-flush reaction. In practice the emote is the red-face reaction, and that is the whole job.

Origin

It is an old photo global, a tight crop of a face gone red. Twitch never replaced it with a cartoon. Treat the name as dated. The use in chat is the blush, not a bit you aim at somebody.

When to use AsianGlow

• A streamer getting genuinely flustered
• Spice, hot sauce, or a dare that showed up on their face
• Secondhand embarrassment at a clip
• Not as a nickname for a person in chat
