BigSad

What does BigSad mean?

BigSad is a purple square face in tears. It is sadness with the volume up: a game-ending throw, a pet clip, a record that died at the last second, a banned bit the channel liked. It is more specific than a plain sad emoji and less of a meme pose than PepeHands.

Origin

Twitch drew it as a global, in the same purple family as bleedPurple. The tears are the entire expression. There is no real person in it.

When to use BigSad

• A loss, a throw, or a run that died at the worst time
• Wholesome-sad clips, goodbyes, or a charity story
• When Sadge is not enabled and you still need a cry
• Stacked with FeelsBadMan energy, without needing the third-party frog
