BloodTrail

What does BloodTrail mean?

BloodTrail is a small red creature with a huge grin and one obvious tooth. Chat uses it when something got bloody, feral, or a bit unhinged: a gory game, a violent clip, a joke that went past normal, a character who is having too much fun with the damage. The name is older than a lot of the people posting it.

Origin

It is a long-time global, emote id and all, from the era when Twitch's defaults were weird little drawings. The current art is that red square monster, not a photo of a nosebleed. Post it when the vibe is gremlin, not when you need a normal sad or a normal laugh.

When to use BloodTrail

• Gore, horror, or a fighting game that just got messy
• A chaotic good (or chaotic evil) moment chat wants to crown
• When Kappa is too dry for how feral the joke is
• Not for a wholesome clip. The tooth is a warning.
