imGlitch

What does imGlitch mean?

imGlitch is the Twitch chat-bubble logo with the image tearing. It means 'I am glitch' or 'Twitch is glitching,' and chat uses it for site trouble, a bit that is intentionally broken, or brand spam that wants to look like a loading error. Clean Twitch pride is bleedPurple. This is Twitch with a bad cable.

Origin

The glitch family remixed the logo the way GlitchCat remixed the cat. The lowercase 'im' is the code: imGlitch. Post it when the platform is the problem, or when you want the logo and you want it wrong.

When to use imGlitch

• Outages, lag, and failed raids
• Intentional glitch art or a broken-UI theme
• When bleedPurple is too sincere for a site that is currently on fire
• Next to GlitchLit if the outage is also, unfortunately, lit
