TwitchUnity

What does TwitchUnity mean?

TwitchUnity is a heart for unity, a togetherness emote rather than one pride flag. Chat posts it for a community moment, a charity, a 'we are in this room together' that is not a gameplay pog. The specific flags are their own hearts: GayPride, TransgenderPride, and the rest. TwitchUnity does not replace them. bleedPurple is loyalty to the platform. Unity is loyalty to the people in the chat.

Origin

Drawn global, a heart so the meaning is immediate. Use the specific pride heart when you mean that flag. Use TwitchUnity when the point is the room. Using it as a substitute because you cannot remember which flag is which is how you post the wrong solidarity. The flags are all globals. They are not hidden.

When to use TwitchUnity

• A community moment or a charity
• Togetherness that is not one specific flag
• Not as a replacement for a pride heart you actually mean
• Beside bleedPurple if you want people and platform
