CODMW4

What does CODMW4 mean?

CODMW4 is the Call of Duty promo global. The mark is a sharp yellow emblem, and chat posts it on CoD streams, warzone nights, and any time a loadout or a nuke needs a stamp. It is a game logo in the emote slot, the same idea as a football set or an Arcane set: the sponsor or the partner gets a global for the weekend and then it stays.

Origin

The code is the abbreviation: COD, Modern Warfare. Twitch has a long history of dropping a game mark into the global pool for a launch. This is that emote. It does not mean a feeling. It means the game.

When to use CODMW4

• Call of Duty streams, drops, and loadout talk
• A nuke, a search round, or a camo grind
• Raid spam when the incoming channel is a CoD channel
• Not as a generic hype emote on a Minecraft stream
